DTN Early Word Grains 02/19 05:51 Corn, Soybeans Slightly Higher, Wheat Mixed with Bean Oil Strong to Start March corn is up 1 cent per bushel, March soybeans are up 1 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 1/4 cent, March Chicago wheat is down 3/4 cent and March Minneapolis wheat is up 1 3/4 cents. Rhett Montgomery DTN Lead Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is up 1 cent per bushel, March soybeans are up 1 1/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 1/4 cent, March Chicago wheat is down 3/4 cent and March Minneapolis wheat is up 1 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: Previous closes Tuesday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 10.26 at 44,556.34 and the S&P 500 up 14.95 at 6,129.58. The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.544%. Early Wednesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are down 94 points. European markets are mixed/higher/lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.51%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.92% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.9%. Asian markets are mixed/higher/lower with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.27% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.81%. OUTSIDE MARKETS: The March Euro is down 0.002 at 1.044 and the March U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.120 at 107.075. The March 30-Year T-Bond is down 16/32nds, while April gold is up $12.70 at $2,961.70 and April crude oil is up $0.56 at $72.39. On China's Dalian Exchange, May corn was steady, while May soybeans were up 0.4%, May soybean meal was up 0.87% and May Malaysian Palm Oil was trading up 3.73%.
