DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/12 13:58 Crop Prices Shake Off Bearish Report, End Higher Friday December corn closed up 6 cents and November soybeans ended up 12 cents Friday, erasing Thursday's losses that followed a bearish USDA report. May contracts of all three wheats were modestly higher with help from a higher close in Europe and ongoing concerns about drier conditions in southern Russia. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed up 6 3/4 cents and December corn was up 6 cents. May soybeans closed up 14 3/4 cents and November soybeans were up 12 cents. May KC wheat closed up 6 1/2 cents, May Chicago wheat was up 4 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was up 5 3/4 cents.
