DTN Early Word Grains 03/26 05:41 Corn, Soybeans Slightly Lower Tuesday morning, With Soybeans Correcting Monday's Strong Session; Wheat Mixed May corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, May soybeans are down 4 3/4 cents, May KC wheat is down 3 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 1 cent and May Minneapolis wheat is down 3 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is down 1/4 cent per bushel, May soybeans are down 4 3/4 cents, May KC wheat is down 3 3/4 cents, May Chicago wheat is up 1 cent and May Minneapolis wheat is down 3 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Tuesday morning, with world markets quiet and U.S. markets slightly higher after a lower start to the week on Monday. Traders continue to look for clues regarding the timing of the initial rate cut from the Federal Reserve. On Monday, new home sales were slightly higher than trade expectations, but not dramatically so. Tuesday morning, we will get new reads on Durable Goods and Consumer Confidence. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 162.26 at 39,313.64 and the S&P 500 down 15.99 at 5,218.19, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.25%. Early Tuesday, the June Dow Jones Futures are up 97 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.08%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.41% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.22%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.04% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.17%.
