DTN Closing Grain Comments 03/26 14:04 Crop Prices Tumble After News of Cattle Infections, Collapsed Bridge May corn closed down 5 1/4 cents, May soybeans were down 10 1/4 cents and all three U.S. wheats posted double-digit losses Tuesday, possibly influenced by news of bird flu infections in southern dairy cattle and a shipping accident that collapsed the Francis Scott Key Bridge in the Baltimore harbor. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 5 1/4 cents and December corn was down 6 3/4 cents. May soybeans closed down 10 1/4 cents and November soybeans were down 7 3/4 cents. May KC wheat closed down 12 1/4 cents, May Chicago wheat was down 11 1/2 cents and May Minneapolis wheat was down 12 1/4 cents.
