DTN Early Word Grains 03/15 05:44 Grain Markets Mixed Friday Morning on Concerns About More Chinese Wheat Cancellations May corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel, May soybeans are down 4 1/4 cents, May KC wheat is up 1/2 cent, May Chicago wheat is up 2 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is up 1 3/4 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: May corn is up 1/2 cent per bushel, May soybeans are down 4 1/4 cents, May KC wheat is up 1/2 cent, May Chicago wheat is up 2 1/4 cents and May Minneapolis wheat is up 1 3/4 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mostly higher Friday morning. Thursday's session reacted to the PPI report which showed significantly more inflation than the trade was anticipating. Equity prices initially rallied but ultimately closed lower in the U.S. as interest rates moved higher with the 10-year note closing just under 4.3%. Offsetting some of the impacts of the PPI numbers were retail sales, which were lower than trade expectations. Friday, we will get more economic data including the Empire State manufacturing survey, Industrial production, capacity utilization, and consumer sentiment. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Thursday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 137.66 at 38,905.66 and the S&P 500 down 14.83 at 5,150.48, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.30%. Early Friday, the June Dow Jones Futures are up 42 points. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.05%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading up 0.27% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index up 0.33%. Asian markets are mixed with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index down 0.26% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 0.54%.
