DTN Closing Livestock Comment 02/23 15:40 Higher Friday Closes Secure Big Weekly Gains For Feeder, Hog Prices April live cattle, feeders and lean hogs all finished higher Friday and for the week. April feeders were up $6.42 on the week, scoring the largest percentage gain in the livestock sector, reinforcing the need for more calves in the months ahead. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: Livestock futures traded higher Friday and received further support after cash cattle trade was reported higher later Friday morning. Lean hog futures also had a good week with improving signs of demand.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
