DTN Early Word Grains 02/13 05:49 Grain Markets Mixed With Corn Higher, Beans and Wheat Slightly Lower March corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel, March soybeans are down 2 3/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 3 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 3 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 6 1/2 cents. Kent Beadle, DTN Contributing Analyst EARLY MORNING GLOBEX NET CHANGES: March corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel, March soybeans are down 2 3/4 cents, March KC wheat is down 3 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat is down 3 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat is down 6 1/2 cents. CME GLOBEX RECAP: World equity markets are mixed Tuesday morning with Europe a little lower and the Asian markets that are open slightly higher. Monday's U.S. market was lower for most of the session but did stage a recovery to close only slightly lower. U.S. markets are lower again Tuesday morning. Also Tuesday, we will get new CPI data which will likely drive the day's price action. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 125.69 at 38,797.38 and the S&P 500 down 4.77 at 5,021.84, The 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 4.17%. Early Tuesday, the March Dow Jones Futures are down 52 points. European markets are lower with the spot futures of London's FTSE 100 trading down 0.24%, spot futures of Germany's DAX is trading down 0.45% and the spot futures of France's CAC 40 Index down 0.31%. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 Index up 2.89% and China's Shanghai Composite Index closed for holiday.
