DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/31 13:56 Wheat Prices Fall Back, Row Crops a Little Higher in Quiet Trade March KC wheat closed down 8 3/4 cents Wednesday, pressured by more precipitation headed to winter wheat areas and a chronic lack of demand. March corn ended up 1/2 cent and March soybeans were up 3 1/2 cents, quietly holding onto the bulk of Tuesday's gains after the Federal Reserve kept the federal funds target unchanged, as expected. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 1/2 cent and December corn was down 1/4 cent. March soybeans closed up 3 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 2 1/2 cents. March KC wheat closed down 8 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 10 1/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 7 1/2 cents.
