DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/30 13:59 Rebound in Soybean Meal Prices Leads Grains Higher Tuesday March soybean meal closed up $8.70 Tuesday, the largest percentage gainer among grain-related contracts, showing concerns about hot and dry weather in Argentina. March corn was up 7 1/2 cents, March soybeans were up 24 1/2 cents and all three U.S. wheats were higher, challenging heavy short positions held by specs. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 7 1/2 cents and December corn was up 5 3/4 cents. March soybeans closed up 24 1/2 cents and November soybeans were up 17 cents. March KC wheat closed up 12 1/2 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 12 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 6 1/2 cents.
