DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/19 13:59 Row-Crop Prices Quietly Mixed Friday, While Wheats Hold Modest Gains March corn ended up 1 1/2 cents and March soybeans were down 1/4 cent Friday, unable to capitalize on news of a soybean sale to China, while there is rain in the forecast for central Brazil. March Chicago wheat's 7 3/4-cent gain was the largest percentage gainer in the grain-related sector Friday with the other two wheats also showing modest gains. Todd Hultman Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed up 1 1/2 cents and December corn was up 1/4 cent. March soybeans closed down 1/4 cent and November soybeans were unchanged. March KC wheat closed up 2 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was up 7 3/4 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was up 7 1/2 cents.
