DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/16 13:54 Corn, Wheat Prices Continue Bearish Performances Tuesday March corn closed down 3 1/2 cents and March contracts of all three U.S. wheats were also lower with new 2024 lows posted in Minneapolis and France. March soybeans ended up 3 cents with help from a $9.00 gain and bull-spreading in March soybean meal. Todd Hultman Senior Market Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 3 1/2 cents and December corn was down 4 1/2 cents. March soybeans closed up 3 cents and November soybeans were down 1/4 cent. March KC wheat closed down 13 3/4 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 14 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 8 3/4 cents.
