DTN Closing Grain Comments 05/02 13:55 US Stocks, Crude Oil Prices Tank One Day Ahead of Fed Decision Tuesday's commodity board was mostly red with traders engaging in risk-off selling ahead of Wednesday's decision by the Federal Reserve on interest rates. The outside influence also held down Tuesday's crop prices with lower closes seen in July contracts of corn, soybeans and all three U.S. wheats. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 4 1/2 cents and December corn was down 5 1/2 cents. July soybeans closed down 16 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 7 3/4 cents. July KC wheat closed down 17 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 9 cents and September Minneapolis wheat was down 17 1/4 cents.
