DTN Closing Grain Comments 01/31 13:48 Corn, Wheat Prices Fall Monday Russia's threat to Ukraine may have spooked wheat prices higher the past two weeks, but not on Monday as all three U.S. wheats posted double-digit losses. March Chicago wheat was the largest percentage loser among Monday's grains, closing down 25 cents at $7.61 1/4. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: March corn closed down 10 cents and July corn was down 7 cents. March soybeans closed up 20 1/2 cents and July soybeans were up 19 cents. March KC wheat closed down 21 cents, March Chicago wheat was down 25 cents and March Minneapolis wheat was down 13 3/4 cents. The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.66 at 96.61. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 270.23 points at 34,995.70. April gold is up $11.90 at $1,796.80, March silver is up $0.15 at $22.46 and March copper is up $0.0225. March crude oil is up $1.05 at $87.87, March heating oil is down $0.0040, March RBOB gasoline is up $0.0095 and March natural gas is up $0.229.
