Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst Pre-6 a.m. Globex Prices: July corn is down 5 cents, July soybeans are up 5 1/4 cents and July KC wheat is down 2 3/4 cents. CME Globex Recap: Early Tuesday, Dow Jones futures are trading higher with European stocks mixed. Later Tuesday, the market will look at April new home sales and a report on consumer confidence in May. According to CNBC.com and Johns Hopkins University, several countries outside of India are facing rising incidents of COVID-19, including new record cases in Argentina. OUTSIDE MARKETS: Previous closes Monday showed the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 186.14 at 34,393.98 and the S&P 500 up 41.19 at 4,197.05 while the 10-Year Treasury yield ended at 1.61%. Early Tuesday, June Dow Jones futures are trading up 64 points. Asian markets are higher with Japan's Nikkei 225 index up 0.67% and China's Shanghai Composite Index up 2.40%. European markets are mixed with the spot futures of the London FTSE 100 trading down 0.13%, spot futures of Germany's DAX trading down 0.07% and spot futures of France's CAC Index trading up 0.08%. The June euro is up $0.0046 at $1.2264. The June U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.26 at 89.58. The June 30-year T-bond is up 11/32nds, while August gold is down $0.10 at $1,884.40 and July crude oil is down $0.48 at $65.57. On China's Dalian exchange, September corn was down 0.2%, July soybeans were up 0.9%, September soybean meal was up 0.6% and September soybean oil was up 1.0%. July common wheat on China's Zhengzhou exchange was up 1.9%. July Malaysian palm oil is trading up 3.6%.
