DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/28 14:10 Row Crops on Roller Coaster, Finish Lower July contracts of corn and soybeans started Wednesday lower, fought back to trade higher, but then succumbed to lower closes, showing plenty of uncertainty about the road ahead for this year's grain prices. All three U.S. wheats were lower most of the day and finished with double-digit losses. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed down 10 1/2 cents and December corn was down 15 3/4 cents. July soybeans closed down 5 3/4 cents and November soybeans were down 14 1/2 cents. July KC wheat closed down 14 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 10 cents and July Minneapolis wheat was down 15 1/4 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.15 at 90.75. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 108.45 points at 33,876.48. June gold is down $2.90 at $1,775.90, May silver is down $0.29 at $26.12 and May copper is up $0.0045. June crude oil is up $0.88 at $63.82, June heating oil is up $0.0314, June RBOB gasoline is up $0.0436 and June natural gas is up $0.018.
