DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/19 13:46 Row Crops Push Higher; Wheat Mixed July corn closed up 6 3/4 cents and July soybeans were up 14 cents, both supported by strong domestic demand and ongoing concerns about dry weather early in 2021. Wheat prices ended quietly mixed, not showing much concern about this week's colder temperatures in the western Plains. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: July corn closed up 6 3/4 cents and December corn was up 8 cents. July soybeans closed up 14 cents and November soybeans were up 10 cents. July KC wheat closed up 2 1/2 cents, July Chicago wheat was down 1 1/4 cents and July Minneapolis wheat was up 1/4 cent. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.46 at 91.08. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 147.06 points at 34,053.61. June gold is down $10.00 at $1,770.20, May silver is down $0.28 at $25.83 and May copper is up $0.0585. June crude oil is up $0.29 at $63.42, June heating oil is down $0.0003, June RBOB gasoline is up $0.0084 and June natural gas is up $0.063.
