Old crop premiums to new crop continue to erode, with white wheat now even with new crop prices, hard red winter showing a premium to new crop and hard red spring at a carry to new crop months. Crop Progress...USDA reported the three-state weighted winter wheat index improved to 99% of average last week, coming mainly from a better assessment out of Washington. Good to excellent ratings for Washington jumped 12% to 74%, while Idaho ratings for that category slipped by 8% to 53% and Oregon was down 3% to 65%. Shipments...Weekly export inspections showed 16.8 mb of wheat moved off U.S. ports last week, which puts the year-to-date shipment totals slightly below a year ago. Top shippper was white wheat with 4.6 mb, followed by hard red spring at 4.5 mb and hard red winter registered a total of 4.2 mb.
