USDA Launches Second Round of Trade Mitigation Payments

(Washington, D.C., December 17, 2018) – At the direction of President Donald J. Trump, U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue today launched the second and final round of trade mitigation payments aimed at assisting farmers suffering from damage due to unjustified trade retaliation by foreign nations. Producers of certain commodities will now be eligible to receive Market Facilitation Program (MFP) payments for the second half of their 2018 production.

Great American provides our agents with a comprehensive training program. We provide the tools and resources necessary to stay current in the ever-changing Crop Insurance Industry. We also provide training based on specialty crops and products, as well as basic training for agents new to the Crop Insurance Industry.

Great American provides convenient online testing that allows agents to meet their federal testing requirement from the comfort of their homes or offices. All agent testing will be completed within Crop University. Contact your regional office representative to establish a User ID and password.
