WASHINGTON, July 27, 2018 - U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue today issued the following statement regarding this week’s European Court of Justice (ECJ) ruling (PDF, 115 KB) on newer mutagenesis methods, otherwise known as genome editing.
