DTN Closing Livestock Comment 09/26 15:31 Livestock Futures Close Lower Monday Live cattle futures closed modestly lower Monday, down 45 to 80. Feeder contracts were down 77 to 195. Lean hog futures closed 35 to 95 lower. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: According to the closing report, the national hog base is $0.50 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($47.00-$51.75, weighted average $51.53). Corn futures closed lower, down 7 1/2 in December and down 7 1/4 in March.
