Lean hog futures closed mixed, up 52 to down 112. By Rick Kment DTN Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: Cash cattle trade remains quiet Wednesday afternoon with just a few scattered bids at $168 in Nebraska. According to the closing report, the national hog base is $0.36 lower compared with the Prior Day settlement ($47.00-$53.75, weighted average $51.96). Corn futures closed modestly lower, down 1/2 to 1 cent. The Federal Reserve left its interest rate unchanged.
