DTN Closing Grain Comments 04/15 13:45 Grains Mostly Higher; Export Sales Underwhelming May soybeans closed up 8 1/4 cents and all three U.S. wheats were a little higher, even though USDA reported new lows in export sales of wheat, soybean meal and soybean oil. May corn finished down 4 cents, unable to hold trades above $6.00 earlier in the session. Todd Hultman DTN Lead Analyst GENERAL COMMENTS: May corn closed down 4 cents and December corn was up 1 cent. May soybeans closed up 8 1/4 cents and November soybeans were up 5 cents. July KC wheat closed up 3 3/4 cents, July Chicago wheat was up 5 1/4 cents and July Minneapolis wheat was up 2 1/4 cents. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading down 0.05 at 91.63. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 264.52 points at 33,995.41. June gold is up $31.10 at $1,767.40, May silver is up $0.47 at $25.99 and May copper is up $0.0965. May crude oil is up $0.20 at $63.35, May heating oil is up $0.0052, May RBOB gasoline is up $0.0153 and May natural gas is up $0.043.
