 GreatAg Quote allows agents to quote multiple MPCI products at once. The agent can integrate the farmer's anticipated production, marketing plan, operating costs and government payments with various MPCI products to determine the farmer's estimated net income. It allows the agent the ability to download policy information and provide quotes to existing customers based on their current policy information. On the other hand, if a simple quote is all that is needed, it will quickly generate a generic quote. If the insured wants information about potential indemnity payouts in the event of a production loss, falling commodity price, or both, it has that capability, too. Crop Insurance can seem overwhelming at times. Farmers want to know the costs and the benefits associated with an insurance plan. GreatAg Quote is all an agent needs to assist farmers with making an informed decision about purchasing crop insurance.

 C.H.I.P.S. (Crop Hail Internet Processing System) is Great American’s web-based processing system for Crop-Hail business, including endorsements that provide additional coverage. Agents can use the C.H.I.P.S. system to quote coverage or to submit applications electronically. Agents can also check on the status of an application, view accounting details of a policy, or view/print a policy register for t heir entire book of business. Enhancements to be added later in 2008 will allow Agents to report claims and view the status of claims using the C.H.I.P.S. system.
